Film financing

Interesting evening Wednesday at the IIFF film finance town hall meeting at LA Film School. Great speakers and very informative. The market for financing is tight for many reasons - the vanishing of easy money, absence of pay tv deals (unless you have a studio output deal), and the decline in values for foreign presales. Likewise hedge fund money is GONE for the industry after all the naive capital got burned.
